When most adults talk about teenagers we have a lot of negative things to say. We comment on what they aren’t doing, what they don’t know, and how different they are from how we were at that age.
Recently, I was blessed to spend time with the wonderful girls of the GTF, Girl Talk Foundation, INC. I was there to produce a video for the foundation’s 2014 Tailoring Teens For Success (TTFS) class and had the opportunity to sit down with each of the young ladies and interview them.
They blew me away.
The girls are vibrant, intelligent, articulate, self-aware, sympathetic, and strong. And all teens can be this way with a little guidance.
The Girl Talk Foundation is doing an amazing work in the community. They are giving the next mothers, teachers, lawyers, dentists, doctors, writers, and artists the skills to succeed. I am so happy to say that we have a bright future ahead of us.
