Storytelling

Everyday we tell a story. Our tall tales weave exciting plot points with long awaited resolutions. They fuel ambition, incite mystery, and radiate love.

Life’s drama is often messy, but can be absolutely beautiful. In those moments we find out who we really are.

I am a storyteller.

I illustrate life’s narratives through words and in pictures — both moving and still.

Jacqueline Kennedy: 50 And Fabulous!

Some people just have that “it factor.” It’s hard to describe, but you know it when you see it.

They are captivating, inspiring, and unforgettable. They take your breath away, while giving you life.

Family and friends recently descended upon Salisbury, North Carolina to celebrate one such individual, the fabulous Jacqueline Kennedy.

Celebrating her 50th birthday — although she doesn’t look a day over forty – Jacqueline hosted an unforgettable soirée. Here are the evening’s highlights!

Girl Talk: Tailoring Teens For Success

When most adults talk about teenagers we have a lot of negative things to say. We comment on what they aren’t doing, what they don’t know, and how different they are from how we were at that age.

Recently, I was blessed to spend time with the wonderful girls of the GTF, Girl Talk Foundation, INC. I was there to produce a video for the foundation’s 2014 Tailoring Teens For Success (TTFS) class and had the opportunity to sit down with each of the young ladies and interview them.

They blew me away.

The girls are vibrant, intelligent, articulate, self-aware, sympathetic, and strong. And all teens can be this way with a little guidance.

The Girl Talk Foundation is doing an amazing work in the community. They are giving the next mothers, teachers, lawyers, dentists, doctors, writers, and artists the skills to succeed. I am so happy to say that we have a bright future ahead of us.
